BiharBrains Organises WIPRO-WASE Career Event 2011

This is to inform you that WIPRO Technologies, Bangaluru in association with BBrains Scholastic Center (under BBrains Development Society) is going to organize State Level WIPRO-WASE Program on April 3, 2011 at 3 pm. The event will be held at Library Hall of A.N College, Patna.

          It is indeed a great opportunity for graduate students of Basic Sciences to attend this WASE Career Event 2011  as it enables each and every student of the 2011 batch to step foot into the corporate world and also continue with their academics. The WIPRO-WASE program gives all the students an option to “EARN while they LEARN”.

A brief summary about the program:

Wipro Technologies India’s leading IT company initiated the software Programme – Wipro. It is the oldest and the most successful Earn while you Learn Programme in the country. Pioneered with a vision to create employment opportunities in Information Technology for non engineering graduates, the programme has so far trained over 6000 graduates many of whom have risen to the ranks of senior managers. WASE provides best in class IT training to young graduates like yourselves equipping you with the knowledge to cope with the ever-changing face of theInformation Technology revolution. It is a 4 year MS Programme in Software Engineering, received from BITS, Pilani. 

Candidate must fulfil the following criteria to enrol into WASE

B.Sc. (CS/ IT/ Electronics / Physics / Mathematics / Statistics) / BCA / BCM
50% aggregate marks in 10th & 12th
60% marks in Hons subject in graduation till date
Mathematics as one subject in 12th - Mandatory
Students currently in the final year of graduation  

The selection process: 
The selection procedure for WASE comprises of two stages,

a Common Entrance Test and HR interview. Dates for each stage would be made available to the candidate upon registration.
After joining WASE, you will receive a monthly stipend

During the first three months of the academic year Rs.7,800/-
From 4th to 12th month of the first academic year Rs.10,300/-
During the third academic year Rs.18,300/-
During the fourth academic year Rs.23,000/-

It would be a privilege to conduct the program in your college for all eligible students of Bihar and would require only a venue to do the same.
