BBrains Development Society, commonly known as ‘BIHAR BRAINS’, is a non profit organization registered under Society Act with special focus on awareness building on education and creating environment for research and development in Bihar. The society came in existence in 2004 and has established its office in Patna. It is being run by Non Resident Indians(NRIs) and educated people of Bihar. BiharBrains Scholastic center, a gyan kendra is a unit of BBrains Development society . The Global Scientific council has been formed for the purpose of organising science conferences, scientific festivals and start R&D Projects in Bihar.


Gaya is 100 kilometers south of Patna, the capital city of Bihar. Situated on the banks of Falgu River (Niranjana, as mentioned in Ramayana), it is a place sanctified by both the Hindu and the Buddhist religions. It is surrounded by small rocky hills (Mangla-Gauri, Shringa-Sthan, Ram-Shila and Brahmayoni) by three sides and the river flowing on the fourth (eastern) side. The city has a mix of natural surroundings, age old buildings and narrow bylanes.


Gaya was a part of the ancient state Magadha. Gaya is one of the best international tourist  spot where  people from Japan, Korea, China, Srilanka, Myanmmar find this place a heaven.

Gaya College, Gaya had a modest start in 1944 on the eastern side of the legendary Phalgu River with a vision of  "Enlightenment and personality development of younger generation through education to make them an asset to the nation".



The College is spread over a vast campus of around 60 acres of land with huge buildings with well maintained class rooms and well equipped labs, seminars, central library, auditorium, gymnasium, boys hostel, girls hostels and administrative block with adequate civic amenities in all the buildings.


The College was assessed by NAAC Peer team in January, 2008 and has been accredited with Grade – A (CGPA : 3.08) in February, 2008
