  Dr.  Kalam: to Deliver Keynote in the 3rd Bihar Science Conference at Gaya College, Gaya

His excellency former President of India and “Prakshepatra Ke Purodha” Dr. A.P.J Kalam ,  has confirmed his participation as "Keynote Speaker in the Inaugural Function " of the third  Bihar Science Conference being organized by Bihar Brains(BBrains Development Society) on 11th February 2010. This conference is hosted by Magadh University, at Gaya College. Hon’ble CM Sri Nitish Kumar will inaugurate the conference. This was informed by Prof. Shreekant Sharma, chairman of the conference who is also the principal of Gaya college, Gaya.

The Conference will be attended by more than 600 scientists of India and Abroad. Scientists from university of NASA, Max Planck research Institute, Germany, Korea and USA , IITs, NITs, IISC, Central universities and other research institutes of India.

 The eminent scientist who are going to deliver his keynote lecture are Prof.. S.E.Hasnain (Member, SAC-PM) , Dr. U.N.Singh(Chief Technologies, NASA Langley Research Center, NASA), Prof. Anil K. Gupta(Indian Institute of Management, Ahemedabad), Prof. A.K. Bhowmick(Indian Institute of Technology, Patna), Prof. H.C.Verma(IIT, Kanpur).

This conference is on the pattern of Indian Science Congress in which one university gets "Hosting University status". Patna University is the first hosting university for this conference, He said.
The conference intends to create a platform for the great minds from various subjects to come together for fostering the scientific temperament in the state. Experts from various fields are likely to evaluate the existing information, to interpret the presented data, to discuss the suitable measures for clear and useful results and finally to explore if the collective efforts are promising to achieve favorable working environment for research and development in the state.
Mr. Bibhuti Bikramaditya, one of the patrons and chairman of BiharBrains, is also coming to attend this conference , said that  BBrains Development society commonly known as BiharBrains has given platform for all educated people of Bihar and will  doing all its effort for bringing science and technology environment on track. Organizing Bihar Science Conference is one of the initiatives taken by BiharBrains.

This conference will be an excellent opportunity to report research outcome in the frontline areas of science and technology. National and international scientists from government, academia and research institutes are welcome to present and discuss the research work.

The three day affair will have oral and poster presentation which covers all areas of Physical sciences, Chemical sciences, Biological sciences, Earth sciences, Electronics and Information Technology. There will be best oral presentation awards and best poster awards to be selected from each of the subject areas.
