Meanwhile, the Patna Science College has volunteered to host the 5th Bihar Science Conference to be organized by the Bihar Brains Development Society from February 10 to 12 next year.
The conference is being organized every year on the pattern of the Indian Science Congress. The decision to organize the next conference at the Science College was taken at a meeting of the Global Scientific Council of the Society held here under the presidentship of Bibhuti Bikramaditya.
Bihar School Examination Board chairman and former L N Mithila University vice-chancellor Rajmani Prasad Sinha has been elected the conference president. More than 1,000 scientists from India and abroad are likely to attend the conference, said convener D K Paul.
